The annual meeting between crosstown rivals Xavier and Cincinnati is among the nation’s best college basketball rivalries. No. 19 Cincinnati leads the overall series 49-34, but No. 24 Xavier has won the past three meetings, seven of nine, and 14 of 20. This year’s ‘Crosstown Shootout’ is set for Thursday night at Fifth Third Arena, located barely four miles from Xavier’s campus.
