Arizona Cardinals release quarterback Sam Bradford

After taking a flier on oft-injured quarterback Sam Bradford over the offseason, the Arizona Cardinals released him Saturday, the team announced. The Cardinals tried to shop the 30-year-old Bradford prior to Tuesday’s trade deadline but could not find any suitors willing to trade for Bradford’s services. The Cardinals signed Bradford to a one-year deal worth $20 million back in March.
