Winner’s Bag: Wesley Bryan, RBC Heritage

Wesley Bryan shot a four-under 67 and used a strong tee-to-green performance at Harbour Town Golf Links to become the first South Carolinian to win the RBC Heritage in its 49-year history. The PGA TOUR rookie didn’t miss with his approach shots down the stretch, sticking his 113-yard second shot on the 13th to 9 feet for birdie; two holes later, Bryan’s 88-yard wedge shot on the 15th landed 4 feet from the hole for a birdie that moved him clear of the field. Using a combination of Callaway’s Apex Pro ’16 irons and MD3/Mack Daddy Forged wedges, Bryan finished second in strokes gained: approach the green (plus 8.451) — picking up at least two strokes on the field during each round. With the exception of a 58-degree Mack Daddy Forged lob wedge that was added this year, Bryan’s iron/wedge setup has remained the same going back to last season when he won Web.com Tour Rookie of the Year honors and earned battlefield promotion to the PGA TOUR with three Web.com victories. Here’s a look at the rest of Bryan’s Callaway equipment setup.
