UNLV wins Duel of the Desert

Wink Adams had 20 points and seven assists to lead UNLV over Minnesota 81-64 on Sunday in the final game of the Duel of the Desert. Adams, who was the tournament’s MVP, went 8-of-9 from the free-throw line and had five rebounds. The Rebels swept the three-game, four-team round-robin tournament, which also included Nicholls State and Kennesaw State.
