Habs’ home woes continue in 3-2 loss

Montreal Canadiens' Christopher Higgins tries to squeeze between Florida Panthers goaltender Tomas Vokoun, from the Czech Republic, and Ruslan Salei, from Belarus, during the second period of their NHL hockey action in Montreal, Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007.

Olli Jokinen got Florida going. Tomas Vokoun prevented the Panthers’ latest win from slipping away at the end of regulation. And it seems the Montreal Canadiens’ near-miss proved too much for Saku Koivu to take. Jozef Stumpel and Brett McLean scored first-period goals and Vokoun made 23 saves, leading Florida to a 3-2 win over Montreal on Tuesday night.
