Giants on verge of postseason berth

Until the New York Giants win a game and clinch a playoff berth, coach Tom Coughlin isn’t going to talk about the postseason, resting players or even scouting potential opponents. Coughlin is old fashioned and old school. He is not going to pat the Giants (9-4) on the back for making the playoffs for a third straight year until they do it.
