Cullen, Ward help ‘Canes top Rangers

The referees break up a fight between the New York Rangers and the Carolina Hurricanes during the third period of the NHL hockey game Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The Hurricanes defeated the Rangers 4-0.

Matt Cullen lost a goal but gained a win in his return to Madison Square Garden. Bottom line, that was way more important to the Carolina Hurricanes. Cullen notched two assists, Cam Ward stopped 28 shots in his second shutout of the season and the Hurricanes bounced back from a blowout loss to beat the New York Rangers 4-0 on Monday night.
