Daaher wins Belmont feature, may run in Breeders’ Cup

Daaher took the lead in the stretch and easily held off Forefathers for a 2-length victory in the $160,100 Jerome Handicap at Belmont Park on Sunday. Trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, the 3-year-old Daaher won for the third time in six starts for Shadwell Stable, and is set to run next in either the new Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile at Monmouth Park on Oct.
