Saturday Belmont Park ran the delayed and shortened Belmont Stakes (G1) before empty stands, the first major sporting event since Covid 19 changed the world, where Tiz the Law romped home by 3 3/4 lengths over Dr Post. Also on the card, Gamine won the Acorn Stakes (G1), Oleksandra beat the boys in the Jaipur Stakes (G1), No Parole won the Woody Stephens Stakes (G1), Decorated Invader won the Pennine Ridge Stakes (G2), and Sweet Melania won the Wonder Again Stakes (G3).
