On this day 26 years ago, Michael Jordan made six straight 3s in an NBA Finals game against the Portland Trail Blazers. After the sixth make, we got one of the most iconic moments in the history of basketball. As if the greatest basketball player ever needed it, Jordan had extra motivation to dominate the Blazers in that series. Portland’s best player was Clyde Drexler, who, at the time, was considered one of Jordan’s rivals for the “best player in the league� title. That didn’t sit well with the ultra-competitive Jordan.
