Ridden by Mario Gutierrez, Ann Arbor Eddie ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.65 and paid $7.20, $3.20 and $2.80 as the 5-2 third choice. California Diamond returned $2.80 and $2.20, while Tribal Storm was another 4 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $4.60 to show.
