Bit of Whimsy raced to her first Grade 1 victory, beating Dreaming of Anna by 2 lengths Saturday in the $500,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland. Ridden by Javier Castellano, the daughter of Distorted Humor was coming off a second-place finish for trainer Barclay Tagg in the Grade 1 Garden City Stakes at Belmont Park last month.
