Super Bowl Champion Trevor Siemian traded to Minnesota Vikings

Our favorite NFL quarterback has a new home. Trevor Siemian has been traded to the Minnesota Vikings, according to NFL.com insider Ian Rapaport. Siemian had been with the Denver Broncos since the franchise selected him out of Northwestern in the 7th round of the 2015 draft. This comes just one day after it was reported that another former Big Ten QB, Kirk Cousins, would be signing with the Vikings for 3 years, $84 million. These are the appropriate responses: Just kidding. Siemian will be the backup in Minnesota. The Vikings needed one after all three quarterbacks on the roster last season — Case Keenum (Broncos), Sam Bradford (Cardinals), and Teddy Bridgewater (Jets) — left via free agency.
