Mason perfect in SO, Preds top Columbus

Chris Mason stopped all three shootout attempts and Martin Erat scored the only goal in the tiebreaker to lift the Nashville Predators over the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 Saturday night. Erat, who beat Fredrik Norrena high, was the second shooter for Nashville. Radek Bonk gave the Predators a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal 9:05 into the first period.
