Lakers beat short-handed Pistons 103-91

Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Farmar (5) puts up a shot as Detroit Pistons guard Ronald Murray blocks during the second half of their NBA basketball game, Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, in Los Angeles. The Lakers won 103-91.

Kobe Bryant’s shooting touch was off, so he wanted to help out in other ways. “When you’re not shooting the ball well, you have to lead by example and make the rest of the guys understand that even though you don’t shoot the ball well, it doesn’t mean you relax on defense. If anything, you pick it up,” Bryant said after the Lakers beat Detroit 103-91 Friday night.
