Donato Hanover falls in Breeders Crown elimination

Hambletonian winner and previously undefeated Donato Hanover was upset Saturday night in an elimination race at the Meadowlands for the $4.7 million Breeders Crown Championships. Donato Hanover, who had won 19 straight races and captured trotting’s triple crown, was outdueled in the stretch by Arch Madness in one of $610,000 3-year-old colt trot eliminations.
