City Attraction wins Big A’s Gravesend Handicap; Contessa breaks training record

City Attraction held off Joey P. by three-quarters of a length Saturday in the $105,100 Gravesend Handicap at Aqueduct. Mike Luzzi guided the 4-year-old trained by Richard Dutrow Jr. to his fifth win in 16 starts. The time was 1:11.97 for six furlongs on the muddy track. City Attraction paid $6.70, $2.90 and $2.30.
