Chargers hold auditions for kickoff duty

The San Diego Chargers auditioned four kickers on Thursday and could sign one of them to handle kickoff duties due to Nate Kaeding’s bruised lower left leg. “Coach will make that decision,” general manager A.J. Smith said, referring to Norv Turner. A decision could come on Friday. Kaeding bruised his lower left leg helping to make a tackle on a kickoff in Monday night’s 23-3 win against Denver.
