Iginla’s hat trick lifts Flames by Wild

The Minnesota Wild celebrate their 400th consecutive sellout crowd at the Xcel Energy Center since joining the NHL in the 2000-2001 season. The sellout came during a hockey game against the Calgary Flames, Sunday, March 7, 2010, in St. Paul, Minn. Calgary won 5-2.

Despite being the career leader in goals against Minnesota Wild, Jarome Iginla hadn’t scored one in 10 games. He certainly broke out of his slump in a big way. Iginla recorded his 10th career hat trick — his third against Minnesota — and Vesa Toskala made 27 saves in his first start since being traded to Calgary as the Flames beat the Wild 5-2 on Sunday.
