WR Burleson tweets Lions deal official

Free agent wide receiver Nate Burleson has joined the Detroit Lions. Burleson tweeted Saturday morning: “It is official so “Go Lions.” Media reports had the Lions agreeing to terms on a $25 million, five-year contract with Burleson on Friday, but the team wouldn’t comment and his agent did not return a phone message.
