Redskins tender Campbell for about $3.1M

A person familiar with the decision says the Washington Redskins have put a first-round tender on restricted free agent quarterback Jason Campbell. The tender is worth about $3.1 million, the person told The Associated Press, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the move hasn’t been announced by the team.
