Pats K Gostkowski agrees to extension

A person familiar with the deal says New England Patriots placekicker Stephen Gostkowski has agreed to a contract extension. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to discuss the matter. Boston media outlets are reporting the extension is worth nearly $14 million and is through the 2014 season.
