Bryant’s late 3 gives West Va. OT win

Darryl Bryant’s 3-pointer with just over a second left in overtime gave West Virginia an 87-84 win over Providence on Sunday. The two teams exchanged leads throughout the extra period, and Providence’s Gerard Coleman made 1 of 2 free throws to tie it at 84-all with 10 seconds left. Ryan Boatright scored 19 points, Jeremy Lamb had 17 and the Huskies beat Seton Hall 69-46 on Saturday in their first game since the school announced Calhoun was taking an indefinite leave of absence. Lamb added eight rebounds and Boatright had five assists and four steals for the Huskies (15-7, 5-5 Big East), who stopped a four-game slide.

University of Connecticut basketball coach Jim Calhoun is taking an indefinite medical leave of absence. Michigan State forward Draymond Green has been diagnosed with a sprained left knee. Green had an MRI on Wednesday and is listed as day to day.
