Kentucky is on top of The Associated Press’ college basketball poll for a third straight week. The Wildcats, who were also No. 1 for two weeks earlier this season, received 63 first-place votes Monday from the 65-member national media panel. Syracuse, which got the other No. 1 votes, Ohio State, Missouri, North Carolina and Baylor held second through sixth from last week.

Reggie Johnson scored five of his career-high 27 points in overtime and Miami upset No. 7 Duke 78-74 on Sunday. Darryl Bryant’s 3-pointer with just over a second left in overtime gave West Virginia an 87-84 win over Providence on Sunday. The two teams exchanged leads throughout the extra period, and Providence’s Gerard Coleman made 1 of 2 free throws to tie it at 84-all with 10 seconds left. Ryan Boatright scored 19 points, Jeremy Lamb had 17 and the Huskies beat Seton Hall 69-46 on Saturday in their first game since the school announced Calhoun was taking an indefinite leave of absence.
