Wild survive review, beat Jackets 2-1

Minnesota Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom (32) makes a save as Columbus Blue Jackets center Andrew Murray (17) looks for a rebound during the third period in an NHL hockey game, Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, in St. Paul Minn. The Wild won 2-1.

The Minnesota Wild nearly gave away another game. Rick Nash’s high stick and a favorable video review helped them hang on. Owen Nolan came off injured reserve to get an assist and his first goal for Minnesota, and the Wild beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-1 on Saturday night after Nash’s tip-in with 11.5 seconds remaining was waived off.
