Trial date set for Vick co-defendant

A trial date for one of Michael Vick’s co-defendants on state dogfighting charges will be set on Sept. 23. Tony Taylor’s trial date was supposed to be set Tuesday in Surry County Circuit Court. However, no agreement has been reached and the matter was continued. Taylor has already served a two-month federal prison term for his role in Vick’s dogfighting enterprise.
