Sprung wins Churchill feature

Sprung pulled away from Precious Princess in the final 100 yards for a one-length victory Wednesday in the $53,800 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Churchill Downs. The winner, ridden by Shaun Bridgmohan, covered a mile on the turf in 1:36.98 and paid $6.40, $3.40 and $2.60. Precious Princess returned $3.40 and $2.80, and Sirmione paid $4.40 to show.
