Edmonds has 2 HRs in 9-run 4th, Cubs win

A Chicago Cubs fan, left, holds a sign as a Chicago White Sox fan reacts as they watch the Cubs and the White Sox baseball game during the ninth inning Saturday, June 21, 2008, in Chicago.

The Cubs have the best record in the majors, so it’s no surprise they’re proving to be the top team in their own city. Jim Edmonds, once with the St. Louis Cardinals and booed as loudly at Wrigley Field as some of the White Sox are now, hit two homers in a nine-run fourth inning Saturday, lifting the Cubs to an 11-7 victory.
