Twins RHP Slowey likely out for season

Minnesota Twins right-handed starter Kevin Slowey says he will likely miss the rest of the season after having surgery to fix a bone chip in his right wrist. Slowey told reporters before Monday night’s game against the Chicago White Sox that the operation requires two to four months of rehab and recovery.
