Texas’ Hamilton may miss rest of season

Texas Rangers slugger Josh Hamilton still wants to get back on the field, though he says it’s possible he won’t play again this season. Hamilton already has missed 11 straight games because of a pinched nerve in his back and says his comeback is being slowed by tightness in his right glute. He hit off a tee Wednesday and plans to take a break from baseball activity to see if that helps.
