Nats OF Pena to miss remainder of season

The Washington Nationals say outfielder Wily Mo Pena has had surgery on his left shoulder and will miss the remainder of the season. The team says the surgery was performed Tuesday in Cincinnati to repair a partial tear of Pena’s rotator cuff and a tear of his labrum. Pena, who batted .205 with two home runs and 10 RBIs, had been on the 15-day disabled list since July 18.
