Marlins recall LHP West to make start

The Florida Marlins have recalled left-hander Sean West from Double-A Jacksonville to start against the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday night. West was 3-4 with a 4.91 ERA in a previous stint with the Marlins this season. Reliever Luis Ayala was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans after Friday night’s 3-2 win over Philadelphia.
