Hawpe’s 100th HR lifts surging Rockies

The Colorado Rockies have been the hottest team in baseball the past three weeks, and Brad Hawpe isn’t surprised. “Everybody’s taking good at-bats and nobody’s giving at-bats away,” Hawpe said after hitting his 100th career home run in the Rockies’ 11-9 win over the Oakland Athletics on Saturday night.
