Cubs RHP Guzman to have shoulder surgery

Cubs reliever Angel Guzman will have surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right shoulder and could be out for the season. The surgery will be performed Tuesday by orthopedist James Andrews, who has already operated on Guzman’s elbow and shoulder. The Cubs did not offer a timetable for his return.
