Braves’ Kawakami outlasts Halladay 1-0

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Jesse Carlson(notes), right, sits in the dugout during the ninth inning of their baseball game against the Atlanta Braves, Friday May, 22, 2009, in Atlanta. Atlanta won 1-0.

Kawakami (3-5) had lost five of his last six decisions before outlasting Halladay, who leads the major leagues with eight wins.
