Braves’ Cox serves 1-game suspension

Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox sat out Tuesday night against Florida to serve the one-game suspension he earned with a tirade on Sunday. Cox was suspended for “inappropriate conduct and comments” during Sunday’s 15-6 loss to the Washington Nationals, Major League Baseball disciplinarian Bob Watson said.
