Angels’ Santana gets first win of season

Ervin Santana knew he had to be patient as he recovered from an elbow injury that cost him the first six weeks of the season. Friday, that patience paid off. Santana didn’t allow a run until the ninth inning and posted his first win of the season as the Los Angeles Angels beat the slumping Detroit Tigers 2-1.
