Maram and Elusive Bluff won 2-year-old turf stakes by identical neck margins Wednesday at Belmont Park, securing spots in $1 million Breeders’ Cup races. The $159,300 Pilgrim and the $164,200 Miss Grillo for fillies were both Breeders’ Cup Challenge “Win and You’re In” races. The victory in the Pilgrim insures Elusive Bluff a berth in the Juvenile Turf on Oct.
