Diamondrella wins Belmont feature

Diamondrella edged Stormy West by three-quarters of a length Friday in the $75,000 Positive Gal Stakes for fillies and mares, the opening day feature at Belmont Park. Diamondrella, ridden by Rajiv Maragh for trainer Angel Penna Jr., ran six furlongs on the firm turf course in 1:08.09. The 4-year-old posted a third straight win, returning $6.40, $2.90 and $2.30.
