Vinny Testaverde practiced for a second straight day Thursday and remained in line to start for the Carolina Panthers against San Francisco. The 44-year-old Testaverde missed last Sunday’s loss to New Orleans after his back stiffened a day earlier. Bryan Saltus of the United States put his new putter to good use as he shot a 5-under 67 for a share of the lead after two rounds of the Cambodian Open on Friday. Saltus joined first-round leader Adam Groom, with the Australian shooting a 68 in the $300,000 Asian Tour event.
